Message I am now approaching a point where I am beginning to wonder if I should spend any more money on modifying the Z...the market value of a 1990 Z with my mileage in excellent shape is 9-10K, now i have spent way more than that since owning the Z, but I know that if i wreck my Z one day or it gets stolen (GOD FORBID) then i only get 9-10K from the insurance company and i basically get screwed. from what i know u dont get money spent on repairs, new parts etc. back which makes up a major part of my spending. dont get me wrong, i still love the Z and it gives me goosebumps everytime i drive it, but how do u guys with thousands invested in ur Z handle this dilemma? basically our cars are aging and depreciating, is it wise to continue to spend money on something thats losing value? should i continue to spend and enjoy and hope the worst never happens? or stop now and start saving for another car (ugh)?
